Pouchong is a unique tea type in Taiwanese tea collection; a lightest version of Oolong tea variety. Gently oxidized yet still maintains the refreshing fragrance of green tea. The story of the four season spring goes back to 1981.. A tea farmer in Muzha discovered a naturally occurring hybrid oolong in his garden which proved to be very adaptable to the weather in Taiwan. Since then, it has gained popularity for its abundant production and unique flavor. The name was chosen for the plant’s year-round leaf growth, hence allowing year round harvests. (Most Taiwanese teas are only harvested in Spring.) SAC’s Four Season Spring Pouchong has a creamy floral aroma; finishes with a delightfully sweet aftertaste. Pleasant to be enjoyed on its own; also versatile to be used as a balanced drink base for bubble tea creations.
